Updated 18 March 2024

My schedule is complicated again! Basically that’s good news. Regular events each week, plus a number of special appearances as well as private events.

Regular performances continue as follows:

I also have additional events scheduled at these venues:

In particular, I am playing a duo with Julian Catford on Saturday 23 March at The Bishop from 6-8. We had a blast last time as a duo at Vintage, and decided to do some more of this.

I had a lot of fun on St. Patrick’s Day at Hard Hat Winery and Cellar Cat; thanks to all who came. I hope to resume finding periodic Irish pub gigs moving forward, bringing back my Trevor the Shantyman persona.

I’ll post updates to my email list, and on Facebook; and I will gradually add material to this new website. However this website is still getting scant attention. Please be patient.

I play a diverse mix of music styles, drawing from jazz, classical, folk, and other traditions.  My work is often as a soloist, but I sometimes join other area musicians. I mostly play seven-string guitars, both nylon- and steel-string.

Until 2002, I appeared solo every week at Alchemy Bistro & Wine Bar, in Port Townsend; I began there in 2011. I also performed regularly at Ajax Cafe, and at many other area venues. That era ended in February 2022 when my wife got sick. She’s doing well now. In summer 2023, I resumed performances on the Olympic and Kitsap Peninsulas.

Here's a clip from Saturday at The Bishop Hotel with Julian Catford. As you can see, the point of it is to show off that nice Shure SM-86 microphone. 🙂 We're playing Julian Catford's composition JC Valse 2 (Trois arrignées). Expect a few more duo or trio events in the
